Welcome to the 13th Lessinia Film Festival

The 13th edition of the Lessinia Film Festival, which pays homage to Dino Buzzati, begins Saturday, August 18, 2007 at the new site of the Teatro Vittoria in Bosco Chiesanuova. Nine days of films, events, exhibitions, editorial presentations, music, meetings with directors and other guests are planned. On Sunday, August 19, the Festival will be dedicated to the Lessinia, with a special inauguration of the photographic exhibition by Eugenio Turri and the first presentation of his book La Lessinia. Tuesday, August 21 will feature an evening of silent films dedicated to World War I, with musical accompaniment.Wednesday, August 22 includes a special evening dedicated to don Lorenzo Milani - “the teacher of mountaineers” - and Friday, August 24 pays homage to director Sandro Gastinelli. Every day on the “Piazza del Festival” you can meet the protagonists of the festival, eat and socialize with friends at the bar and restaurant, and enjoy the open air “theater” of Bosco Chiesanuova during the final evenings of summer. A grand festival awaits. Be a part of it!
